Opportunity Tree is a small nonprofit organization where every dollar makes a big difference!  We have a great track record and very low overhead.  The students we support are working to transform their lives and those of their families and communities through education. We provide support through scholarships, mentoring, creating rural libraries, and providing resources to students and teachers. 

 

Our expectations for board members may include:

 

• 2-4 virtual meetings a year

• Advisory support as needed

 

It's especially helpful if you have expertise in and passion for one or more of these areas:

 

• Communications, networking, and marketing

• Experience or knowledge related to Central America and/or youth education

• Educational programming advising

• Fundraising and/or grant writing
